Sea- City Museum Trip- October 2016

During the year 6 Titanic topic, our teachers were generous and offered us an expedition to the Sea City Museum in Southampton. All of us children loved the adventure and our minds were filled by the tragic sinking of the Titanic. Slowly and thoughtfully strolling through the building, we encountered many educational activities. This included: shovelling coal into a furnace; navigating ships through the icy waters; and listening to stories from real-life survivors. At the end of the day, the pupils reported that this had been one of the best trips that had ever experienced!

Did you know…?

There were not enough lifeboats to fit all of the passengers who were on board the Titanic!
