Winchester Science Museum Workshop

This week, Year 5 were very lucky to have a visit from the Winchester Science Museum! In the morning, the children had a very exciting science based assembly where they were able to see some experiments – the favourite was watching what would happen when they set alight to hydrogen! After this, we had a workshop where the children thought about the best materials to use for a satellite – they used infrared lights and thermometers to measure temperatures over time and decided that shiny, gold card was the best to use as it reflected the heat! The children are very excited for our second workshop next week!
