Online Safety Assembly


Today the children were involved in an Online safety assembly in preparation for Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 6th February. Safer Internet Day is celebrated globally in February each year to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people. This year's motto is ' Create, connect and share respect: A better internet starts with you!'
Throughout the week, each class will take part in a lesson on how to keep safe online including how to respectfully use the internet as well as how to deal sensibly with negative online behaviour. Children will end the lesson by creating a pledge of how they themselves will help to make the internet a safer place.
