Our Pupils

Our pupils take pride in their position as a Talavera learner. They have a wide range of opportunities to get involved in, to contribute to their school and local community and to be active citizens. We love to hear new ideas from the children, who are engaged in the changes that they can personally make to the world around them. Take a look at some of the incredible things that our young people do.

At Talavera Junior School, we are always looking for ways that we can improve what we offer. This year, we are taking part in Hampshire's Hart & Rushmoor Inclusion and Diversity Panel. As part of this, we have set up our Equality Society.

Each year, the Equality Society will pick one protected characteristic and one right from the United Nation Convention on the Rights of the Child. These will be their focus for the whole year as they work to improve our school for these protected group.

All of the suggestions and work are the children's own so that they are truly given a voice.
