Job/Person Summary

Talavera Junior School is a three-form school nestled in the heart of Aldershot. During our most recent Ofsted, we were judged as an ‘Outstanding’ school all areas.

We are looking for a permanent teacher to start work on the 1st September 2024. However, an earlier start date could be possible. This post is suitable for an ECT.

We are looking for a talented and inspirational SEN Hub Lead Teacher for our outstanding provision at Talavera Junior School. We are a driven team who relentlessly aim to provide an exemplary education to our most vulnerable children. We are looking for an exceptional practitioner who:

●        Has a working knowledge of a wide variety of strategies to support and enable children to fully access all areas of school life, based on experience of teaching in an alternative setting, specialist unit or experience of being a SENCO

●        Has experience of developing and implementing an exciting curriculum in specialist provision

●        Has held a responsibility or leadership role in a school

●        Has an in-depth knowledge of the EYFS and KS1/KS2 curriculum

●        Has high expectations of themselves, their colleagues and their pupils
